Volleyball Wins Another

The University of Findlay volleyball team won Wednesday night (Oct. 21) against Urbana University (25-19, 25-19, 22-25, 25-20) in Croy Gymnasium. With the win, the Oilers improve to 10-16 on the season.

The Oilers had four players reach double figures in kills and were led by junior Jenny Slone who tallied 14.

Sophomore Erin Thomasson added 11 kills while junior Abby LaVigne and sophomore Jessica VonIns recorded ten apiece.

LaVigne added 15 digs while VonIns had 14 assists.

Junior Megan Florence added 32 assists, nine digs and three aces.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Saturday, October 24 when they host Alderson Broaddus at 4:00 p.m.
