The University of Findlay men’s soccer team was eliminated from the 2009 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament after being defeated 2-0 at the hands of Ashland University on Thursday, November 5 in Tiffin, Ohio. The Oilers end their season with an 8-10-1 record on the year.

The Eagles scored a goal in each of the two periods and out-shot Findlay 16-6 during the contest.

Matthew Brooks made three saves in the net for Findlay and allowed both goals.
