University Of Findlay Oilers
Oilers Ink 20 On Signing Day

The University of Findlay football program announced the signing of 20 student-athletes on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 as head coach Jon Wauford and his staff unveiled their fourth recruiting class for the Oilers. The class features ten offensive players, nine defensive players and one athlete whose position is yet to be determined.

“I am really excited about our recruiting class this year,” said Wauford. “Our coaching staff worked extremely hard and put together a great group of student-athletes. I believe we solidified some of our needs with this class and made our football team more athletic and more physical in the process."

The Oilers are coming off of a 7-4 campaign, their best since going 9-2 during the 2002 season. Findlay returns 41 players who saw action last year, including 25 athletes who started at least one game during the 2009 campaign.
