Senior forward Josh Bostic of The University of Findlay men's basketball team was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division Player of the Week on Monday, December 1. The award was the third of his career.
Bosti led the top ranked Oilers to an 84-55 win at home over Lake Erie College on November 25 in Findlay's only action last week. He scored a game-high 21 points in the contest to go along with eight rebounds and five assists.
The 6-5 forward from Columbus, Ohio now has 1,094 career points which ranks 34th all-time at Findlay. He also currently ranks fourth in the GLIAC in scoring at 19.0 points per game and ranks second in the conference in steals with 2.7 per game.
Grand Valley State University's Justin Ringler took home the honor in the North Division.
Bostic and the Oilers will be back in action again on Thursday, December 4 when they host Saginaw Valley State University at 7:30 p.m. in Croy Gymnasium.
