Hyde Named GLIAC Player of the Week
Junior guard Nathan Hyde of The University of Findlay men's basketball team was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division Player of the Week on Monday, December 14.
Hyde sparked two Findlay wins at home last week by averaging 19.0 points, 3.5 assists and 3.0 steals per game.
In the Oilers 90-62 win over Ferris State, Hyde had 19 points and followed with 19 more during Findlay's 70-57 win over Grand Valley State. He also added a career-high six steals in the win over the Lakers and was a perfect 12-of-12 on free throw attempts during the week.
On the season, Hyde is averaging 14.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.8 steals per game. He is also shooting 45.7 percent from the three point line and has drilled all 20 of his free throw attempts.
