The 2017-18 athletic season at Findlay was one of the best in school history as multiple athletes and teams saw success at both the conference and national level. The UF media relations staff has put together a top-10 list of individual performances from the year and will release them throughout the summer months.
#3 | Taren Sullivan | Men's Basketball
A native of Lima, Ohio, Taren Sullivan began his senior season by being named a preseason all-American by several publications. He would live up to the high expectations, eventually securing all-American honors from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and DII Bulletin.
Sullivan averaged 17.2 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game and led the Oilers to their second straight appearance in the Sweet 16. He was named the 2018 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Player of the Year and was voted first team all-conference. A first team all-region pick by the NABC and the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA), Sullivan's performance during his senior season allowed the Oilers to achieve a 28-5 record.
