The University of Findlay men's basketball team captured their third straight win with a 78-65 victory over Judson on Dec. 30 in Niekamp Arena. The win gives the Oilers a 7-5 record on the year.
The Oilers ended the game by hitting 50.7 percent (34-of-67) of their field goal attempts. They also forced 16 turnovers and came away with 12 steals in the victory.
Junior guard Tommy Schmock nearly recorded a double-double with 13 points and eight rebounds while senior forward Aaron Overhiser broke into double figures with 12 points to go along with five boards.
Sophomore forward Deven Stover also had a good game for Findlay as he finished with eight points and four rebounds.
The Eagles, who shot 41.7 percent (25-of-60) from the floor, were led by Johnny Flynn's 13 points.
The Oilers will be back in action again on Jan. 2 when they host Lake Erie at 7:30 p.m.
