Senior Michael Schmitmeyer of The University of Findlay men's golf team was tabbed first team all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) as the league office released their annual awards on Monday, April 30.
Schmitmeyer, the 2009 GLIAC Freshman of the Year, finished second in the conference with a 72.57 scoring average. The St. Mary's, Ohio native earned second team all-conference honors during his freshman and junior seasons and was a first team all-league pick during his sophomore year.
Sophomore Marcus Hunt was named second team all-GLIAC after posting an average of 74.07 strokes per round while senior Logan Cooke earned honorable mention all-conference honors with a scoring average of 75.21.
