Oilers Take 19th at Regional in Kentucky


The University of Findlay men's golf team ended the Jewell (Midwest Regional) in 19th place as the tournament concluded on Sunday, April 7 at the Cherry Blossom Golf Course in Georgetown, Ky.

The Oilers finished the tournament with a two-round score of 625 (316, 309) and were led by Marcus Hunt, who placed 24th with a 150 (75, 75).

Adam Johnson (79, 78 – 157), Dustin Lieber (84, 75 – 159), Jack Kastor (79, 81 – 160) and Chien-Han Sung (83, 96 – 179) also competed for Findlay at the event.

The Oilers will be back in action again on April 14-15 at the third NCAA regional of the year at the Purgatory Golf Course in Indianapolis, Ind.
