The University of Findlay men's golf team took eighth place out of 13 teams who competed at the GLIAC Spring Invitational. The event, which was hosted at the Winding Hollow Golf Club in New Albany, Ohio, concluded on Sunday, April 21.
The Oilers fired a two-round score of 641 at the event. They posted a 629 during the opening round on Saturday and then came back with a 312 on Sunday to conclude the tournament.
Marcus Hunt finished second overall out of 77 total competitors to lead the team.
Hunt fired a 76 during both rounds of competition and finished the tournament with a 152.
Jack Kastor tied for 17th with a 156 as he carded an 82 on Saturday, which came before his 74 on Sunday.
The Oilers will be at the GLIAC Preview (April 27) next weekend in Lansing, Mich.
