Oilers in 12th at GLIAC Fall Tourney


The University of Findlay men's golf team is in 12th place after the first round of the GLIAC Fall Tournament, which is being held at the HawksHead Golf Course in South Haven, Mich. The team fired a 310 on day one.

Freshman Dylan DeWitt led the Oilers on the first day with a score of 73. His round is good enough to position him in a tie for 12th.

Senior Kirby Doidge, competing as an individual for Findlay at the event, is tied for 24th with a 75 while senior Dustin Lieber is tied for 38th with a 77.

Sophomore Justin Roth (80), freshman James Riepenhoff (80), freshman Andrew Bruns (82) and sophomore Cam Wardley (84) are also competing for Findlay at the event.

The tournament will conclude tomorrow.
