Sebring, Fla. – The University of Findlay men's golf team took sixth place at the 4th Annual Warner Invitational at the Sun 'n Lakes Golf Club on Tuesday, March 1. The Oilers finished with a three-round score of 936 (308, 313, 315) in the 12-team tournament.
Senior Dustin Lieber, sophomore Justin Roth, and Freshman Andrew Bruns each led the team as they all tied for 23rd place in the tournament with a three-round score of 233. Lieber shot 73, 81, 79, Roth scored 75, 81, 79, and Roth hit 82, 79, 72.
Sophomore Cam Wardley finished with a 237 (78, 75, 84), good enough for a tie for 31st.
Also in the tournament for the Oilers was freshman Dylan DeWitt who tied for 40th (77, 83, 81 | 241), freshman James Riepenhoff who tied for 45th (77, 83, 81 | 241), and senior Kirby Doidge who finished in 67th (93, 86, 91 | 270).
Findlay will be back on the course next in Monroe, North Carolina when they play at the Ralph Hargett Invite on Sunday, March 13.
