The University of Findlay men's golf team wrapped up the Ralph Hargett Invite at the Monroe Country Club in Monroe, N.C. on March 14. The Oilers finished 14th at the event with a three-round score of 909 (298, 307, 304).
Sophomore Justin Roth paced the team and tied for 22nd with a 217. He posted a 3-under par score of 69 in the first round followed by a 75 in round two. He then closed the tournament with a 1-over par score of 73 for his total.
Inside the Results
- All six golfers for UF competing at the event posted a score in the 70's in round three.
- Senior Dustin Lieber got better each round and finished with a 227. His scores by round were 77, 76, 74.
- Sophomore Cam Wardley (77, 74, 78 – 229), freshman Dylan DeWitt (75, 83, 79 – 237), freshman Andrew Bruns (77, 82, 79 – 238) and senior Kirby Doidge (83, 80, 76 – 239) also competed for Findlay.
The Oilers will return to action again on March 25-26 at the GLIAC Spring Tournament. The event will take place in Lexington, Ky. at the Andover Country Club.
