The University of Findlay men's golf team took 12th place at the GLIAC Spring Invitational with a 36-hole score of 637 (334, 304). The event was held at the Andover Golf and Country Club in Lexington, Ky.
Freshman Dylan DeWitt paced the team and finished tied for 19th with a two round score of 154. DeWitt shot an 83 in the opening round and then fired a 1-under par score of 71 in the second round for his total.
Andrew Bruns tied for 46th at the event with a score of 161 (81, 80) while sophomore Justin Roth (84, 79 – 163) and senior Dustin Lieber (88, 75 – 163) tied for 53rd at the event, which concluded second round action on March 26.
The Oilers return to the links again on April 2-3 at the second NCAA Regional of the year. The event will take place at the Elks Run Golf Course in Batavia, Ohio.
