Oilers In 17th at NCAA DII Regional


The University of Findlay men's golf team completed day two of the NCAA Division II Midwest/Central Super Regional on May 8 at the Findlay Country Club. The Oilers shot a 290 on Tuesday and are currently tied for 17th with a 36-hole score of 595 (305, 290).

Luke Kelly and Cam Wardley paced the Oilers with 1-under par rounds of 71. Kelly produced 13 pars and three birdies while Wardley had five birdies and an eagle during his round.

Kelly is tied for 28th at the event with a 146 (75, 71) while Wardley is tied for 56th with a 149 (78, 71).

Justin Roth had a 73 on day two that included three birdies and is tied for 47th with a 148 (75, 73).

Dylan DeWitt posted a 75 and is tied for 85th with a 152 (77, 75) while Cameron Bruce recorded a 75 and is tied for 102nd with a 156 (81, 75).

The tournament will end tomorrow.
