Allendale, Michigan – Just a few days after their season opening victory at the Ohio Cup, the University of Findlay men`s golf team were back in action at the Don Underwood Invitational at the Meadows. The Oilers shot a 36-hole score of 576 (288, 288) and currently lead the field.
Hunter Foltz competed as an individual at the tournament and posted a 1-under par score of 70 as well.
Westfall, who won the Ohio Cup over the weekend, posted a 2-under par score of 69 in the second round and leads the tournament with a 140. Kelly also played well in the second round as he fired a 1-under par score of 70 and is tied for sixth overall with a 143.
Griffith (74, 74 - 148), Haynes (73, 75 - 148), and Grzegorczyk (71, 77 - 148) are all tied for 20th at the tournament after 36 holes as well.
Foltz continued his solid play as an individual in round two as he posted a 72 and is tied for fourth overall with a 142.
