The University of Findlay men's soccer team played 110 minutes on Tuesday, October 12 at DeHaven Field, but could not find the back of the net as they settled for a 0-0, double overtime tie against Urbana University. The tie gives the Oilers a 1-7-2 record on the season.
The Oilers blasted 22 shots in the game, but Urbana goalkeeper William Harvey continually turned them away by making 11 saves in the contest.
Defensively, the Oilers stood strong and got a shutout performance from goalkeeper Matthew Brooks, who made five saves in the net.
The Oilers will be back in action again on Friday when they host Ohio Valley at 4:00 p.m.
