The University of Findlay men's soccer team was defeated 2-0 by Lake Erie College on Friday, September 9 in Painesville, Ohio. The loss gives the Oilers a 0-3 record on the season with a 0-1 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).
The Storm scored a goal in each period as they out-shot Findlay by a 29-7 margin.
Alex Jurek made four saves in goal for the Oilers while Matthew Brooks added one. Each goalie allowed a goal apiece.
The Oilers will be back in action again on Sunday when they face Ashland University at 3:30 pm in Ashland, Ohio.
