The University of Findlay men's soccer team fell 3-0 at #8 Saginaw Valley State University on Friday, Sep. 14 in University Center, Mich.
The Cardinals scored two goals in the first half and then added another in the second to give Findlay their first loss of the season as their record now stands at 3-1.
Matthew Brooks took the loss by allowing all three goals in the net for the Oilers. He made four saves and faced seven shots on goal.
The Cardinals held a huge advantage in the shot department, claiming a 17-5 edge in the game.
The Oilers will be back on the field again Sunday against Northwood University. The game is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. in Midland, Mich.
