The University of Findlay men's soccer team was shutout 4-0 by Notre Dame College on Friday, Oct. 5 in Lyndhurst, Ohio.
The Falcons managed to jump ahead of the Oilers in the 22nd minute when an own goal made the score 1-0. Notre Dame tacked on goals in the 28th, 50th, and 73rd minutes for the win.
Findlay was only able to produce eight shots in the match with three on goal.
Matthew Brooks took the loss as keeper, pushing his record down to 4-5-0 on the season.
With the loss, the Oilers drop to 4-6-0 on the season with a 2-6-0 mark in GLIAC play. Their next match will be Sunday, Oct. 7 when the host Lake Erie for a noon kickoff.
