The University of Findlay men's soccer team lost to Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) opponent Northwood (Mich.) University 1-0 on Sunday, October 27 at DeHaven Field.
The Timberwolves scored the lone goal of the contest when Liam Machugh scored at the 32 minute mark. His goal was assisted by James DeCosemo.
Findlay goalkeeper Joe McClanahan took the loss in the net and had three saves in the process.
Although the Oilers had the edge offensively with an 8-2 advantage in the corner kick department, they could not capitalize on their scoring opportunities.
The Oilers, who are 5-9-1 on the year with a 3-9 mark in GLIAC play, will face GLIAC foe Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio on Friday, November 1 at 7 p.m.
