Ashland, OH- The University of Findlay men's soccer team lost to the Ashland University Eagles on Friday, October 28. This loss gives the Oilers an overall record of 7-9-1 and a conference record of 6-8-1.
The first half proved to be scoreless as the Oilers and Eagles battled to put the ball in the back of the net.
At the end of the first half, the Oilers attained six shots and Ashland attained three shots.
Junior goalkeeper had one save at the end of the first half to Ashland's four saves.
In the 78th minute of the game, the Eagles scored to take the lead 1-0.
In the 89th minute of the game, sophomore Josh Burton received a red card that lead to the Oilers being down a man for the last minute of the game.
The Oilers will take the pitch again for the last game of the regular season on Sunday October 30 at Ohio Dominican University at 2:00pm.
