The University of Findlay men's soccer team is coming off of a 13-6 season and will be led by head coach Andy Smyth, who is entering his 30th season with the Oilers.
The Oilers have a rough start scheduled for the beginning of their season as they will be on the road for their first six contests. They open up at Indianapolis on Aug. 30 and from there they will head to California (Pa.) on Sep. 1. They will then travel to Salem International (Sep. 6), Lake Erie (Sep. 8), Kentucky Wesleyan (Sep. 13) and Trevecca Nazarene (Sep. 15) to end their road swing.
Findlay's first home date is scheduled for Sep. 20 when they host Ohio Dominican at DeHaven Field. They will then remain at home on Sep. 22 to host Cedarville before heading back out on the road for a Sep. 27 contest against Malone.
The Oilers will be at home on Sep. 29 when Walsh comes to town and conclude their road portion of the regular season at Alderson Broaddus and Davis & Elkins on Oct. 4 and 6, respectively.
Findlay will be at home for four straight matches beginning on Oct. 11 when they host Kentucky Wesleyan. They will then welcome Tiffin to town on Oct. 13 before hosting Ohio Valley on Oct. 18. Lake Erie will be at DeHaven Field on Oct. 20 to conclude the home stand before the Oilers close their regular season on Oct. 23 at Tiffin.
The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Tournament is slated to take place on Oct. 27. The semifinals will then be played on Nov. 1 with the championship slated for Nov. 3.
