The University of Findlay men's and women's swimming and diving teams wrapped up the first day of competition at Ball State University on Friday, November 18 in Muncie, Indiana.
Sophomore David Soutoul snatched a second place finish in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 1:56.22 to lead the squad and teamed with David Conti, Tim Anderson-Lind, and Colton Brauning to place third in the 400-yard medley relay at 3:42.32.
Brauning also added a sixth place finish in the 50-yard freestyle at 22.78 while Conti added an 11th place finish with a time of 2:05.23 in the 200-yard individual medley. Freshman David Vittori also placed 11th in his event, the 500-yard freestyle, at 4:55.51.
Annie Currin led the women's team by taking sixth in the 500-yard freestyle at 5:16.07 while Molly Cade placed 10th in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:15.83.
The event will conclude tomorrow, Saturday, November 19.
