Findlay, Ohio – University of Findlay men's tennis player Tomas Kmetko has secured his second Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Player of the Week honor this season after going 3-0 in singles and 3-0 in doubles last week.
Kmetko picked up his first wins of the week against no. 20 Concordia-New York as he teamed up with Jorge Barnuevo to defeated Eymeric Chevalier and Michele Fenoaltea. Fenoltea is the tenth-ranked player in the country in Division II. Kmetko won his singles match 6-2, 6-2 against Chevalier.
Findlay's number one singles player then won 6-1 in doubles and 6-0, 6-2 in singles against Assumption to help give the Oilers a 7-0 win over the Greyhounds.
His final matches of the week were against Lee University where he and Barnuevo won 6-4 at first doubles and he later defeated Jake Okines in three sets.
