The University of Findlay men and women's cross country teams completed the Spartan Invitational on Friday, Sept. 14th in Lansing, Mich.
For the men, Tim Majoy recorded his best time ever and 10th best in UF history with his 43rd place finish and time of 25:44.
Jacob Hayes and Justin Eilerman tied for 96th with a time of 26:28. Other placers for the Oilers were Luis Velasco (28:17), Brock Lloyd (28:28), Joe Guerra (28:59), Alex Betts (29:04), Connor Walthour (30:27), Derek Bornhorst (31:49), and Nick Valerio (32:18).
On the women's side, Alexa Stults led her team finishing 128th with a time of 23:50. Other finishers were Samantha Hassen (24:07), Abigail Magner (24:44), Rachel Hosie (24:46), Kayla Sendelbach (24:54), Erica Bettac (25:14), Samantha Grippe (25:32), Meredith Hoops (25:39), and McKenzie Mahlmeister (25:40).
The Oilers will be back in action on Saturday, Sept. 29th for the All-Ohio Championship in Cedarville, Ohio.
