The University of Findlay softball team lost a pair of away games at Ohio Dominican University on Thursday, March 28. The Oilers fell 8-4 in the first game and 3-0 in the second contest. With the losses, Findlay drops to 11-5 overall with a 1-3 mark in conference action.

Brittany Dauterman took the loss in game one, giving up six runs on eight hits and one walk in four innings of work. Relief pitcher Nicole Motuza allowed two runs in two innings.

Dauterman went 3-for-4 from the plate. Emily Reynolds homered in the top of the third, scoring both Dauterman and Jenna Motuza in the opener.

In the second game, Tawna Whited was saddled with the loss after allowing three runs on five hits on the mound. She also fanned three batters but gave up five walks.

Tori Allen generated two doubles for game two. Reynolds and Whited each generated a base hit in the second game.

The Oilers will travel to Tiffin University for a twinbill on Saturday, March 30, beginning at 1 p.m. against the Dragons.
