CollegeSwimming.com Release

Somers, WI -  CollegeSwimming.com announced its 2016-17 Division II Pre-Season All-America selections.  A total of 121 swimmers from thirty-eight institutions were selected for the honor. Selections were based on the times of both returning and incoming swimmers (through September 1st) with input from coaches and sports information contacts.

From the University of Findlay swimming team, senior Meri Cizmar was named preseason all-American in the 200 back, one of the four events in which she earned all-American honors a season ago. Those events include the 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay, 100 back, and 200 yard backs.

On the men's side, junior Janko Radmanovic earned preseason all-American honors in a pair of events; the 100 and 200 fly. He has been an all-American in the 200 fly in each of the previous two seasons and also earned the award in the 100 fly last season.

Competition for the swim team will begin on October 2 when they travel to Northern Michigan.
