Delaware, OH – The University of Findlay men's and women's swimming and diving teams were victorious in a dual meet against Ohio Wesleyan University. The men won with a score of 153-74, while the women won 165-50.
The men had 10 first place finishes during the meet.
Senior Janko Radmanovic won the 200 yard butterfly with a B class time of 1:49.84. He also went on to win the 200 and 500 yard freestyle races with times of 1:25.77 and 4:46.07.
Other first place finishes for the Oilers' swimmers were Ben Rath with a 16:37.08 time in the 1650 free, Trent Williams with a 22:18 time in the 50 yard free, Parker Bull with a 55.57 time in the individual medley, and Mark Billeaud with a 49.16 time in the 100 yard free.
Findlay's Dalton Shevlin places first in one and three meter diving, with scores of 220.30 and 236.85 respectively.
The man also won the medley and 200 yard freestyle relay races, with times of 1:36.26 and 1:25.77.
The women had 11 first place finishes during the meet. Those that won their races were Sydney Zimdars in the 1650 yard free with a 18:26.60 time, Ashton Klopp with a 2:01.99 time in the 200 yard free, Amanda Stiegal in the 50 yard free with a 24.67 time, Hanna Cederholm in the 100 yard individual medley with a 1:01.59 time, Emma Barnes with a 2:11.68 time in the 200 yard backstroke, Sarah Miles with a 5:33 time in the 500 yard free, and Julia Snell in the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:25.76.
The women also won the medley relay with a time of 1:50.30 and the 200 yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:41.19.
The Oilers will compete again next weekend when they host Ashland University on Friday, Nov. 10 at 6:00 PM.
