Findlay, Ohio – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced their selections for Swimming and Diving Athletes of the Week on Wednesday, Dec. 11. Findlay earned both the male and female awards as freshman Tim Stollings and senior Hanna Cederholm each were named.
Earning the honor for the first time in his career, Timothy Stollings put together a solid week in the pool while competing at the Calvin Winter Invite. A native of Prichard W. Va., Stollings' accomplishments this week included a school record in the 200 yard freestyle relay (1:21.84), a school and conference record in the 100 yard backstroke (49.40), and the second-fastest 50 free time in conference history (20.63). He wrapped up his weekend with a 'B' standard and school record in the 200 yard medley relay (1:28.83) and a 'B' standard in the 100 yard butterfly.
Hanna Cederholm added to her collection of accomplishments with yet another Athlete of the Week award. This past weekend included a school and conference record breaking and 'B' standard in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:02.46) that is the fifth-fastest time in the country this season. On the final day of competition, Cederholm was a member of the 200 yard medley relay that took first with a 'B' standard time of 1:43.05. She wrapped up her weekend with a school and G-MAC record breaking performance in the 200 yard breaststroke with a (2:17.11).
