The University of Findlay track and field teams hosted the Northwest Ohio Invitational on Friday, January 13 at the Malcolm Athletic Complex.
Junior Taylor Bolinger captured first in the 3000 meter run with a time of 10:46.21.
In the pole vault, senior Torie Allgire claimed fourth with a height of 3.02m.
Freshman Jenna Shipman won her heat and placed fourth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:28.92.
In the weight throw four Oilers reached the NCAA provisional mark. Tynelle Gumbs finished second (19.31m), senior Erica King claimed third (18.92m), senior Liz Streacker earned fifth (18.56m), and Trevia Gumbs placed 8th (17.02m).
Freshman Lenell Shelby III met the NCAA provisional mark and claimed second in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.15.
In the long jump, junior Trey Everett met the NCAA provisional and finished second with a distance of 7.16m.
In the 800 meter run, Torres finished second with a time of 1:59.53.
Effah also competed in the 200 meter dash where he won his heat and earned fourth with a time of 22.59.
Sophomore Jaye Williams grabbed sixth in the 60 meter dash at the 6.95 mark.
Sophomore Jonathan Allen came in sixth in the 3000 meter run as he clocked in at 8:59.59.
Sophomore Austin Combs met the NCAA provisional mark and finished fourth in the weight throw with a distance of 20.33m.
The Oilers are back in action on Saturday, January 21 when they travel to Tiffin University for the Dragon Open.
