The University of Findlay men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Miami Duals in Oxford, Ohio on April 14.
The Oilers claimed the top two spots in the men's discuss. Junior Dequan Lovell earned first place, throwing for 49.80m (163-04.00), while sophomore Javian Martin took second with a distance of 45.74m (150-00.00).
Lovell took first in the men's shot put, with a 16.79m (55-01.00) throw.
Sophomore Martin Etsey placed second in the men's triple jump with a distance of 14.86m (48-09.00).
The Findlay men took three of the top five spots in the men's long jump. Etsey earned second place jumping for 6.97m (22-10.00), while sophomore Babafemi Ayeni jumped for 6.80m (22-03.00) and junior Khalil Capers jumped for 6.66m (21-10.00) to take fourth and fifth place respectively.
The men's 4x400 meter relay team broke the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) record by running a 3:18.23 to earn second place.
Senior Trey Everett placed third in the men's 110 meter hurdles with a time of 15.40.
In the men's 5000 meter run, junior Jonathan Allen earned fourth place with a time of 15:31.82.
Jellison took fifth in the men's 400 meters with a time of 51.45.
Senior Milani Glass ran a 14.23 to earn second place in the women's 100 meter hurdles.
In the women's shot put junior Hannah Hahler earned third place and a new league record throwing for 14.81m (48-07.00). Senior Alex DeVincentis took fourth in the event, throwing for a distance of 14.51m (47-07.00).
DeVincentis took third in the women's discuss, throwing for 48.40m (158-09.00), while Hahler took sixth in the event with a distance of 41.19m (135-01.00).
The Findlay women took fourth in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:05.57.
In the women's long jump sophomore Jenna Shipman earned fourth place with a 5.28m (17-04.00) jump.
