Men Picked 2nd | Women Picked 4th

The University of Findlay men's indoor track and field team was picked as the runner-up in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Preseason Coaches Poll, which was released on Nov. 29. The Oilers women's team was picked to finish fourth.

The men's team won the indoor championship last season by scoring 154 points. They received 136 points and three first place votes in the coaches poll. The women's team came in fifth during the championship with 54 points and received 124 points in the poll this year.

Senior Austin Combs will be back to lead the Oilers as he won shot put and weight throw at the conference meet one season ago. Combs then went on to win gold at the 2018 NCAA Division II Indoor National Championship in the weight throw.

Senior George Effah also returns after winning conference titles in the 400-meter dash and 4x400-meter relay.

Junior Semoy Hemmings returns for the women after winning a conference title in the 400-meter dash last year.
