Bardall Named GLIAC South Player of the Week
Junior guard Laura Bardall was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division Player of the Week on Tuesday, January 18 after leading the Oilers to a pair of wins against Lake Erie College and Wayne State University.
During the week, Bardall averaged 18.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.0 steals per game. She also shot 53.8 percent from the floor and drilled 57.1 percent of her three point attempts in the two games.
In the Oilers 67-48 win over Lake Erie on Thursday, Bardall scored 11 points to go along with a career-high 11 rebounds. In the Oilers 66-62 win against Wayne State on Saturday, Bardall scored a season-high 25 points and tied a career-high with four three pointers made.
On the season, Bardall is averaging 15.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.
