A year after finishing 19-11 overall with a G-MAC Tournament Championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2009, the Chargers are off to a .500 start to the 2018-19 campaign and are hanging around the middle of the pack in the conference, just as they did a season ago.

This season began with a 1-5 record through six games for the Chargers, but Hillsdale followed that up with a 5-1 record in December to pull even at .500. In January, the Chargers have gone 2-2 with wins against Alderson Broaddus and Ohio Valley and losses to Davis & Elkins and Ohio Dominican.

A second team all-conference player last season, senior Allie Dewire is the team's leading scorer at 13.2 ppg. She has scored 20 points or more on three occasions this season. Dewire is tied for the team lead with 2.9 assists per game and is also third on the team with 5.2 rebounds per game.
