Findlay, Ohio – Adding to one of the most successful individual seasons in program history, University of Findlay women's golfer Makenzie Torres has been named All-East Region by the Women's Golf Coaches Association, the second time in her career she has earned the honor. Torres is just the fourth player in program history to have earned the award twice in her career, joining Shelby Warner (2016 &2017), Kasey Petty (2015 & 2016), and Brooker Albers (2012 & 2014).
This season, Torres had a scoring average of 75.39, the third-best season average in school history. The 2018 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Player of the Year earned medalist honors in two tournaments and helped lead the Oilers to their second consecutive conference crown.
