The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team claimed a 15-13 win over Lake Erie College on April 4 in Donnell Stadium to remain undefeated in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play. The victory improves the Oilers record to 4-5 on the year with a 2-0 mark in league competition.
Sophomore Kyra Bradley had a huge day for the Oilers as she set a new single game school record with ten goals. Bradley's ten goals topped the previous mark of eight, which was held by juniors Sarah Lankton and Mackenzie Barnwell.
Bradley did most of her damage in the first half as she helped the Oilers to an 11-6 lead with nine goals. She also added two assists and five draw controls in the win as well.
Lankton turned in three goals, three assists and six ground balls while Barnwell and freshman Michelle Lortie each had a goal apiece.
Freshman Rachel Heath captured the win in goal and made 12 saves in the contest.
The Oilers will be back in action again on April 10 when they host Walsh University at 7 p.m. in Donnell Stadium.
