The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team fell 21-7 to Grand Valley State University on April 17 in Allendale, Mich. The loss gives the Oilers a 5-7 record on the season with a 3-2 mark in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play.
The Oilers seven goals in the game were the most the Lakers have given up this year in conference play. The Lakers entered the game having allowed only four goals in four games.
Grand Valley State held a 41-19 edge in shots and had a 23-7 advantage in draws.
The Oilers will be back on the road this Sunday at 2 p.m. against McKendree University.
