The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team defeated Walsh University by a score of 24-14 on April 21 in Canton, Ohio. The win gives the Oilers a 7-7 record on the season with a 2-2 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).
The Oilers out-shot the Cavaliers by a 38-20 margin and had 33 shots on goal. They also had three players record four goals apiece as Kyra Bradley, Olivia Sherman and Allison Kelly reached that mark. Bradley and Sherman also assisted on two goals as well.
Brie Caruso had three goals while Hannah Peebles posted three goals and four assists. Jacelyn Litman recorded a pair of goals and Maddi Brown, Monica Campbell, Lexi Miller and Ciara Burud each had one goal apiece.
Rachel Heath picked up the win by stopping two shots in the game.
The Oilers will be back in action again on Sunday when they host Lake Erie College at 1:00 p.m. for senior day.
