The University of Findlay women's lacrosse program swept the weekly Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) awards on May 1. Senior Olivia Sherman was named the Offensive Player of the Week while junior Jacelyn Litman captured Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Sherman piled up ten goals, seven assists, 13 draw controls and seven ground balls for the Oilers as they went 2-0 last week. She began with four goals and four assists in the Oilers 24-0 win over Alderson Broaddus and had six goals and three assists in Findlay's 23-3 victory against Davis & Elkins.
Litman produced six goals, five assists, 15 ground balls and four caused turnovers. She had one goal, three assists and four ground balls against Alderson Broaddus and then followed with five goals, two assists and a G-MAC record 11 ground balls against Davis & Elkins.
