The University of Findlay wrestling team, ranked sixth nationally, completed the Harris Open on Saturday, Nov. 17 in Ashland, Ohio.
At 149, Joey White finished third with a 6-1 record as he defeated Campbellsville's Shawn McGhee by decision 6-5 in the third place match.
Andrew Tumlin, the seventh-ranked grappler in the 285-pound weight class, also added a third place finish in his division after ending the tournament with a 4-1 record.
Mason True, the top-ranked wrestler in the nation at 165, added a fourth place finish after losing 6-4 by decision to Connor Brancheau of the University of Michigan in the third place match. He finished the event with a 3-2 record.
The Roughnecks will be back in action again on Nov. 30 when they compete in their first dual meet of the season at Tiffin. The contest is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in Tiffin, Ohio.
