Findlay, Ohio – On Wednesday, Nov. 14, the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) announced the 2018 Women's Soccer All-Midwest Region Teams. Earning a spot on the second team is Findlay sophomore Shannon Marsh, the first women's soccer player from Findlay to earn CCA all-region since 2012.
In her first year with Findlay after transferring in from Bowling Green St. University, Marsh was a key factor in helping turn around a program that won just 12 games in the last three years combined. The St. Claire Shores, Mich. native led the Oilers to an 11-win season, their most wins in a season in 18 years, and was the team's leader in points with 17. She scored six goals and had five assists and blasted a team-high 55 shots, 25 of which were on goal.
Marsh, who appeared in 17 games this year for Findlay, was also a second team all-Great Midwest performer this season.
