Andrew Makepeace is entering his second season as the Oilers head men's and women's swimming coach during the 2013-14 campaign.
In his first season at the helm of the Oilers swimming program, Makepeace saw several swimmers break school records and had one individual on the women's side earn All-American honors in two events.
Makepeace previously served as an assistant coach at Minnesota State-Mankato from 2008-12. He also has over seven years of experience at the club and high school levels.
A graduate from Minnesota State-Mankato, Makepeace earned all-conference honors with the Mavericks as a sophomore and junior and was tabbed the team captain during his final two years with the program.
