Tomas Menec is entering his sixth season as the Oilers head tennis coach for both the men’s and women’s programs during the 2013-14 campaign. Overall, Menec has been associated with the program since 2005.
In 2009, Menec was named the GLIAC Coach of the Year for women's tennis after getting his team into the GLIAC Tournament for the first time in several years.
Menec graduated from Northwood University in 2005 and helped the tennis team capture four Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) championships. In 2002, Menec was a part of the Timberwolves squad who finished third nationally in NCAA Division II.
