The University of Findlay men's and women's indoor track and field teams will be hosting the Northwest Ohio Invitational on Friday, January 20 in the Malcolm Athletic Center.
The men's team enters the event as the seventh-ranked team in the nation while the women's squad is ranked 18th.
Individually, the Oilers have a host of athletes who enter the meet as the top seed in their respective events.
On the men's side, Tim Sanders is the top-ranked athlete in the 60-meter hurdles (8.30), John Guagenti is the top seed in the 200-meter dash (22.00), Dillon Webster is ranked first in the 500-meter dash (1:07.00), Glen Forsythe is at the top of the chart in the long jump (22'11.25) and Shane Shockey enters the event first in the pole vault (17'02.75).
The Oilers 4x400-meter relay team is also a top seed (3:25.00).
On the women's side, Raven Clay is ranked first in the 60-meter hurdles (8.28) and the 300-meter dash (40.01).
Christine Zimmermann enters the event as the top seed in the 500-meter dash (1:18.00), Pam Showman is at the top in the high jump (5'05.25) and Jessica Rowland is the favorite in both the shot put (48'11.75) and weight throw (60'00.00).
The Oilers 4x400-meter relay team is also a top seed (4:02.00).
