The University of Findlay volleyball team defeated Walsh University by a score of 3-0 (25-21, 25-27, 25-15, 25-15) on Oct. 31 to run their record to 17-6 on the season.
The Oilers, who are now 12-3 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), received 23 kills from sophomore Hannah Tong in the win. Tong hit .265 for the match and also added eight digs and three blocks.
Red-shirt freshman Nickyla Garverick also reached double digits in kills, smashing 13 with a hitting percentage of .550 to go along with four blocks.
The Oilers will host a tri-match tomorrow with Malone and Alderson-Broaddus beginning at 1 p.m.
