The University of Findlay volleyball team won their final two matches in St. Augustine, Fla. as they beat 25th-ranked Flagler by a score of 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-21) before sweeping Erskine 3-0 (25-12, 25-11, 25-14). The Oilers are now 3-1 on the season.

Junior Izzy Murphy paced the Oilers in their win over Flagler with 18 kills and hit .818 in the match, the second-highest hitting percentage in program history. She attempted 22 attacks and had no errors during the win.

Junior Shelby Kin posted ten kills and three blocks while senior Hailee Olson had 34 assists and seven digs.

Senior Amanda Winner had eight kills and five digs while senior Kara Scherger produced a team-high 12 digs to go along with six assists.

In the win over Erskine, the Oilers hit .444 and were led by Winner, Kin, and sophomores Madison Moore and Rylie Pattison, who all had six kills in the match.

Junior Jenna Delarber registered five kills while Scherger had nine digs.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Aug. 31 when they host Missouri-St. Louis at 2:30 p.m. in Croy Gymnasium. They will also host Ohio Valley on that day beginning at 7:00 p.m.
