Findlay, Ohio- The University of Findlay women's volleyball team opened up conference play on Friday, September 27 against Ohio Valley. The Oilers won in four sets, 3-1 (25-15, 25-23, 23-25, 25-20). The win brings the Oilers' record to 3-9 on the season.
The Oilers were led by senior Shelby Kin after hitting .317 in the contest including 25 kills. Her 25 kills in the game ties her for 10th most in a single game for program history. Junior Rylie Pattison and Freshman Natalie Maras contributed 10 kills a piece. Junior Emily Annesser accounted for 39 assists on the evening as well, while also contributing 12 digs.
The Oilers have a doubleheader slated in Croy Gymnasium on Saturday, September 28 as they will host Alderson Broaddus in a match that will start at 10:00am, and followed by that they will play Lourdes at 12:00pm.
